Samuel Palmer Joins Buchanan Partners

Samuel Palmer has joined Buchanan Partners as Vice President, Building Design and Construction.

Samuel Palmer has joined Buchanan Partners, a Gaithersburg, Maryland-based commercial real estate development firm, as Vice President, Building Design and Construction.

Mr. Palmer brings to Buchanan over 22 years of experience in both general contracting and commercial development, from field supervision to project management. He previously served as Senior Construction manager for Carl M. Freeman Retail LLC, where he was responsible for overseeing all new construction projects at Freeman’s commercial development and redevelopment sites.

Mr. Palmer holds an associate degree in construction management from the University of Maryland, and spent seven years in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Palmer resides in Smithsburg, Maryland with his family.

The eleventh largest commercial developer in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, according to the Washington Business Journal, Buchanan Partners has developed a commercial portfolio that includes office, industrial, flex and retail space projects.
