Bowie Corporate Center Wins Gold LEED Certification

Bowie Corporate Center, a 131,000-square-foot building, was awarded a gold certification for leadership in energy and environmental design.

The U.S. Green Building Council bestowed the LEED certification on the project, which is at 4321 Collington Road. The building was developed by Buchanan Partners of Gaithersburg.

Meanwhile, JP Morgan Asset Management Real Estate put in $13.4 million in equity to become the building's majority owner. Bank of America provided a $26 million construction loan, which will be replaced by a permanent loan once the building is fully leased. CB Richard Ellis is the exclusive leasing agent.
