Two Malls on U.S. 50 Approved

County leaders cleared the way for two large retail malls to be built along U.S. 50 near Washington Dulles International Airport....On June 19, the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors approved rezoning applications to add roughly 1.5 million square feet of stores, restaurants, and other businesses just west of the airport near Route 606 and south Riding....Like Dulles Center, Arcola Center's The Shops will be an 80-acre development that will house 750,000 squre feet of commercial space, including a hotel. It will anchor the southeast corner of the Arcola property.
